DerpyDooDesigns, (DDD), is a company that creates works of fiction targeted at all ages, with a goal of bringing information, support and acknowledgement to those who are neurodivergent. We work alongside medical professionals and those with first hand experience in order to keep our facts straight and intention true.

David Green is the CEO of DerpyDooDesigns and author of the “Turquoise goes to school” series. Growing up autistic in a time when it wasn't fully understood, he was considered to be a “problem child". Professionals were mixed on whether autism existed, teachers refused to believe him, and he was punished daily for being different. Growing up through all of this, he realised that there were others like him. Even today with more support being available, there is still a lot that could be improved on. That’s why he started this company: to help others like him understand a little more about themselves and push for them to receive more support

UNDERSTANDING

We strive to create stories that can help children, parents and adults to understand more about certain disabilities in a safe and fun manner.

Storytelling

All stories are based on real life events told by people who are neurodivergent, backed with information from psychological experts, teachers, doctors and more.

CONNECTION

We want everyone to have a chance to understand why and how they are different, and for parents and guardians to connect with their children on a deeper level.

THE FUTURE

Together we will work together to ensure that the next generation receives the support and opportunities that we did not have.
